National Democrats

National Democrats
House Republicans have been ordered to shut down the government.

House Democrats worked with Republicans to reach a bipartisan agreement to keep our government open, provide necessary relief to areas devastated by natural disasters and put People Over Politics to make life better for working families.

Republicans broke that agreement.

House Republicans will now own any harm that is visited upon the American people by their shutdown.

The Republican shutdown will hurt hundreds of thousands of farmers, seniors, children, veterans, men and women in uniform and working-class Americans.

The country needs us to work together to lower the high cost of living. But Republicans decided to bend the knee to the twice-impeached former president -- threatening the working-class Americans they claim to support.

I'm sorry to drop into your inbox again, but I couldn't wait to tell you:

I only need 1 gift from 44118 before midnight to hit my End of Year Goal.

I'm fighting so hard for you in Congress – for women's reproductive freedom, lowering prescription drug prices, and protecting our democracy.

Now, I need you to fight for me so I can take back the House for Democrats.

I need just 1 grassroots Democrat to step up from 44118 before my End of Year Deadline. Will you be the very last gift I need in these final 14 hours? >>

Raja Update 12/30

Dear Sandeep,

On December 20th, Congressman Raja joined CNBC to discuss the future of TikTok. He asserted "It is time for ByteDance to sell TikTok and let the platform flourish without the control of the CCP looming over it."

On December 21st, Congressman Raja joined MSNBC to discuss the intelligence community's findings on the reported drones in New Jersey. He said "There are inadequacies... with regard to providing authority to local law enforcement, as well as other agencies, in detecting and potentially defeating drones. These are things we need to work on."

Earlier this morning, Congressman Raja joined CNN to discuss the ongoing H1-B visa debate and our standing with our allies. He argued, "We can't win that competition [with China] unless we retain, attract, and get the very best talent from around the world. That's our number one killer competitive advantage... we have to improve that."

We will continue to bring you news about Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi's work in D.C. and Illinois.

I just checked ActBlue:

 ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌

I humbly asked you.
Ted Lieu asked you.
My wife asked you.
My parents asked you.

Sandeep, I'm asking you again because I need your help to rush resources to Democrats heading into THREE special elections, build an unbeatable foundation of grassroots support, and hand Republicans the smallest House Majority they've EVER seen. I just checked ActBlue, and as of 9am, we still need 508 more gifts from 44118 to clinch my End of Year Goal. Will you chip in $100 in these final 24 hours?>>

I'm asking for your $100 one more time because I have to:

– Build a strong foundation of support as we head into the next election
– Prove to everyone watching that Democrats have what it takes to win these special elections
– Help hand Republicans one of the smallest majorities in history

Sandeep, I'll be honest: We're walking into an unprecedented political environment — which is why we need your support now more than ever before. We have to prepare Democrats for special elections, head into this next election cycle with an unwavering foundation of grassroots support, and hand Republicans the smallest House Majority they've ever seen. But I still need 508 more gifts from 44118 to clinch my End of Year Goal — can I count on you to rush in $100 before my crucial End of Year Deadline in just 24 hours? >>
