On Wednesday, Congressman Raja published a joint op-ed in the Daily Beast on banning members of Congress from trading stock. The Congressman wrote, "it's past time that we rise to the occasion and pass comprehensive legislation to ban members of Congress, their spouses and their dependent children from owning or trading stock."
On Thursday, Congressman Raja spoke with the POLITICO Tech podcast. The Congressman pointed out that "if you take [technological competition between the US and the CCP] seriously, then you will understand that without this basic research, we are not going to be able to innovate."
On Tuesday, Congressman Raja published a joint op-ed in the Chicago Sun-Times about the funding issues facing public transit after pandemic relief funds run out. The Congressman emphasized that "we must have a robust public transit system that prioritizes reliability, accessibility and safety."
