Trump has is fighting for unchecked power. We have to fight back.

National Democrats
The Tax Penalties on American Hostages Act has been introduced in both the House and the Senate.

This bill would give the Treasury Secretary unchecked power to revoke a nonprofit's tax-exempt status, by merely claiming — with no evidence or due process — that the organization is linked to terrorism.

Trump will be returning to the Oval Office in just a few weeks, and he could weaponize this bill, dubbed the "Nonprofit Killer," to punish his political enemies and critics.

That's right. Trump could use this legislation to shut down hundreds of non-profits — vital organizations that champion reproductive health, immigrant rights, human rights, racial justice, LGBTQ+, environmental awareness, and educational advocacy. We need to stand strong against H.R 9495 & S.4057, the Tax Penalties on American Hostages Act.

Take action now: Help demand that Congress reject this legislation and protect nonprofits and civil society from dangerous executive overreach. We must stop Donald Trump's effort for corruption
