WASHINGTON POST: DeJoy charges ahead with USPS cost-cutting My DEJOY Act just passed through my committee and is on its way to stop Trump's postmaster general from delaying mail any further. Unfortunately, this bill does not stop him from future cuts to the USPS. I'm certain that Dejoy will continue to undermine the USPS, putting vote by mail in jeopardy. That's why I'm launching an emergency petition demanding Dejoy be fired. Trump's postmaster general has been shown to be incompetent and indifferent to this debacle. I'm saddened to hear that local post offices are forced to close because of Dejoy's cuts. I'm concerned that he will try to undermine mail-in ballots again during our elections.
