On Monday, Congressman Raja touted a $25 million grant for Kane County he helped secure via the 2021 Infrastructure Bill. The Congressman stated, "I was proud to vote to expand the Infrastructure for Rebuilding America grant program – which provided this funding – and look forward to seeing the benefits this grant will bring to our community."
On Friday, Congressman Raja joined Chris Cuomo on News Nation to speak on the danger China poses to our national security. He warned that "the CCP... is attempting to preposition malware in critical pieces of [U.S.] infrastructure, not to collect intelligence but to potentially damage or destroy the infrastructure, and … harm a lot of Americans."
On Sunday, Congressman Raja published an Op-ed in the Chicago Tribune condemning Donald Trump's racist attacks on Nikki Haley. The Congressman concluded that "If Haley truly wants to be the Republican candidate of the future, now is the time to give voice to the best version of America — one that is inclusive and diverse, and where racist declarations are unwelcome."
