A global game of whack-a-mole

I just sat down with Wolf Blitzer on CNN — I was brought on because I sit on the House Intelligence Committee — to talk about where this war with Iran actually stands.   I didn't hold back. I told him plainly: Trump and his MAGA sycophants have turned this into a game of whack-a-mole.   This administration keeps escalating without a strategy, without an endgame, and without listening to the people whose job it is to know better. Even top generals have advised against expanding operations further! And it's not just costing us strategically. It's costing every American at the gas pump, at the grocery store, and on their mortgage.   As if that wasn't enough, Trump is layering his reckless trade war right on top of it — slapping new taxes on American consumers and calling them "tariffs" like that makes them hurt any less.
