I’ll be direct

Time is short, so I'll be direct: Late this weekend, I voted with my colleagues in the House to pass President Biden's critical infrastructure bill. It was a HUGE win for the American people -- and in a couple weeks, we will vote for the Build Back Better (BBB) Act, which will power America forward too. But nearly all of my Republican colleagues shamelessly voted against the infrastructure bill. And they will do the same for the BBB Act. I need you to make a choice in this moment: -- Sit back and let Republicans vote against America without any accountability -- Or band together, hold Republicans accountable, and ensure that they FAIL to overthrow our Democratic House I am banding together with my fellow Democrats to get 5,000 gifts this weekend. Will you rush in $12 before midnight to hold Republicans accountable for their horrible vote? >> This infrastructure bill is a MAJOR win for the American people: -- Funds our crumbling roads and bridges -- Expands broadband access for underserved and rural communities -- Improves our public transportation and rail -- Invests in electric vehicles And the list goes on and on. That's exactly why I'm so frustrated that Republicans voted against it. It's a slap in the face to the American people. We need to make this a turning point in the battle for House control: Can I count on you to hold Republicans accountable for their vote and ensure they fail to overthrow our Democratic House?
