On Monday, Congressman Raja presented the Village of Hanover Park with $600k in federal funding for improvements in their wastewater treatment facility. The Congressman stated that "I'm proud to have secured this critical funding for the wastewater treatment facility and look forward to seeing this project completed in the near future."
On Wednesday, Congressman Raja was quoted in NBC News regarding the latest restrictions on American investments in the Chinese tech sector. He cautioned that "the threats we face are not static, and our actions need to be dynamic and coordinated with allies and partners to ensure we are building a lasting security for the American people."
On Thursday, Journal & Topics covered the rally Congressman Raja hosted on August 1st. The article noted that the Congressman brought together "local elected officials, Democratic township organization representatives, and advocacy organizations" to "protest... anti-choice and anti-LGBTQ 'poison pills' included in legislation that passed in Congress last week."
On Friday, Congressman Raja appeared on CNN to discuss the appointment of a special counsel in the Hunter Biden case. The Congressman pointed out that "allegations of political bias don't seem to hold weight when Mr. Trump was ultimately in charge of the Justice Department and its handling of this investigation."
