On Sunday, Congressman Raja joined the St. Charles Township Democrats at their annual picnic. Addressing the crowd, he expressed appreciation for their years of support and talked about how local Democrats can work together to take back control of the US House.
On Monday, Congressman Raja appeared on CNN International to talk about American military aid to Taiwan and the threat of Chinese aggression. The Congressman explained that "the best way to prevent [a CCP invasion of Taiwan] is to make sure that they understand that the costs of trying to coercively reunify the island far exceed the benefits."
On Tuesday, Congressman Raja hosted a rally In Elk Grove Village, bringing together 20 local Democratic groups and leaders. The purpose of the rally was to stand up against the anti-choice and anti-LGBTQ bills being pushed by the far right.
On Friday, Congressman Raja appeared on CNN to address the threat of Chinese Communist Party spying on the US military and how the US government can work to prevent it. The Congressman expressed that he is "concerned that low-level folks in the military have access to too much classified, or protected, or sensitive information," stating that it's "a separate issue that we have to tackle as well."
