Last Tuesday, Congressman Raja won re-election to represent Illinois' 8th Congressional District! In the Daily Herald's piece about his victory, he said "Each time it's always a challenge. This time we had a presidential race at the top of the ticket. This is a time of restlessness with the public as they confront multiple challenges," adding that "the American people want us to work together as Republicans and Democrats for their common challenges."
Thank you to everyone who supported our campaign, both in Illinois and across the country -- this victory belongs to you as well. Many key races did not go the way we wanted them to but we don't have time to despair; there's much work to be done.
