The shutdown is hurting our community

Hi Sandeep,

The government is still shut down and we are seeing the real-world impacts for Chicagoans right here in the 7th District: veterans missing their benefits, working families losing food assistance, and civil servants unable to pay bills.

While Democrats try to reach across the aisle to deliver a responsible budget that lowers costs for working families and reverses Trump's devastating cuts to Medicaid, Republicans refuse to come to the negotiating table and are allowing Trump to bulldoze the American people for profit.

The 7th District needs a leader that will fight to protect essential services and put the needs of our community first. Jason has spent this entire campaign meeting neighbors from every corner of the district to listen to what they need most for their representative, and he will continue putting these voices front and center in Congress.

Can you donate $25, or whatever you're able, to help us send a leader to Washington that will protect essential services for our working families?
