Affordability shouldn’t be aspirational

Hi Sandeep,

As this campaign gains momentum, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the support my team and I have received for our message: the 7th District deserves a leader who will deliver affordability, security, and opportunity for every single one of us.

This past Sunday, we were hosted by two generous Oak Park community leaders for a meet-and-greet, and had the opportunity to speak with neighbors from across our district. Their stories and concerns weren't new; they were a reminder of how our leadership has consistently failed to prioritize working families.

Affordable housing, health care, and groceries shouldn't be aspirational. Transit shouldn't be unreliable. Public education shouldn't be underfunded, especially in neighborhoods with the greatest need for investment.

I can promise you this: I will fight tooth and nail to improve the lives of every single person in our district.  A $5 donation, or whatever you can spare, will help my team and me achieve a better future for our working families.
