Team Friedman Week in Review Jan. 26, 2026 Happy birthday to our very own Jason Friedman! Here's a quick look at what we've been up to this past week on the campaign trail: ✅ Jason met with voters across the district at five meet-and-greets, from Chinatown to West Loop to Forest Park. With a wide range of ages, voters shared their stories and concerns about pressing issues in the district like Social Security and Medicare cuts, safety on public transit, and better funding for public schools. ✅ Jason earned an endorsement from 2nd Chicago Police District Councilor Ephraim Lee: "Our communities need a representative who understands that breaking the cycle of violence means getting at the root causes and achieving long-term solutions to public safety issues requires compassion, empathy, and building trust between communities and law enforcement. That's why I stand behind Jason Friedman for Illinois' 7th Congressional District – he knows how to put the safety of our neighbors and families first." ✅ The unstoppable Friedman Field Team spent another week reaching out to voters and constituents to listen and earn their support. ✅ Jason shared his plan for creating good-paying jobs in the 7th District, including directing federal investment to secure funding for infrastructure projects that employ local workers and contractors, championing small businesses, and expanding workforce development opportunities.
