Every day, I see innocent, hardworking people being violently detained and uprooted from their communities – all to serve Trump's sick political agenda.  For months, ICE agents have been wreaking havoc on our communities and operating without ANY accountability. And in front of our very eyes, this lawlessness has turned deadly. This is not how a democracy treats people, Sandeep. But the MAGA loyalists in the White House and Senate have made clear they have zero respect for Democracy, the law, or the basic rights of our neighbors.  If I've learned anything in my life as an immigrant in this country, it's that success comes from translating our anger and worry into action.
