My state is at the epicenter of the battle for reproductive rights

After rolling back our rights in the state legislature, a federal district court in Texas nearly eliminated the right of Americans in all 50 states to access a safe and effective medication used in abortion care and miscarriage treatment.

After rolling back our rights in the state legislature, a federal district court in Texas nearly eliminated the right of Americans in all 50 states to access a safe and effective medication used in abortion care and miscarriage treatment. After that decision, I introduced the Protecting Reproductive Freedom Act, H.R. 2573, with my fellow Future Forum Rep. Pat Ryan to reaffirm that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration appropriately approved, and has appropriately regulated, mifepristone.
