Next steps in the student loan battle

Update:

Friend,

We are deeply disappointed that the Supreme Court overturned President Biden's student loan forgiveness program that would have canceled student debt for millions of Americans.

However, the fight is not over. President Biden and Democrats in Congress are committed to providing the student debt relief our country needs. It's going to take a little longer now, but here are the next steps in the student loan battle:

  1. First, President Biden has announced a new plan to cancel student debt under a provision of the Higher Education Act. It will likely face challenges like the last one, but the legal foundation is sound and we hope it will prevail in court.

  2. Second, the Biden Administration is implementing a new repayment plan that will allow millions of borrowers to pay as little as $0, without interest. And in as little as 10 years, any remaining debt will be canceled.

These steps will make sure student loan borrowers get the relief they need. Will you add your name to thank President Biden for keeping up the fight?
