On Labor Day, Congressman Raja marched with the Schaumburg Democrats in the Schaumburg Labor Day Parade. It was a beautiful day for a parade, and at times a little toasty in the sun, but a fun time was had by all!
Last Monday, Congressman Raja presented the village of Addison with $600k in federal funding for local road and infrastructure improvements. The Congressman stated, "I am proud to have secured this critical funding for these important repairs to the road, its sidewalks, and the drainage system around it."
On Saturday, Congressman Raja appeared on MSNBC to discuss far-right GOP demands for an impeachment inquiry in exchange for a vote on funding the government. He said that a shutdown would be "a huge harm that would be actively inflicted on millions of people," adding that "demanding an impeachment inquiry for a vote to continue to fund the government... is a loser as well."
