Last Monday, Congressman Raja joined MSNBC to discuss President Trump's tariff battle with Canada and Mexico. He said, "China is cheering what's happening right now... we are getting further divided from our friends, partners, and allies like Canada, and that is exactly what China wants to see."
On Tuesday, Congressman Raja appeared on WGN Radio to explore Elon Musk's involvement in the federal government. He said, "There's a cloud of dust surrounding [Elon Musk's] activities... I'm going to be calling for some accountability for what is going on with regard to his activities."
On Wednesday, Congressman Raja participated in a forum with Axios to continue exploring DOGE's influence on the federal government and tech policy. He said, "If we're going to have a situation where DOGE is going to make decisions about AI policy... that favor certain incumbents or that isn't conducted in a transparent way, that's when we have problems."
On Thursday, Congressman Raja joined BBC News to discuss Trump's funding cuts for USAID. He said, "There are ways to reform the USAID in a fashion that is much less harmful to the mission of the agency and to all the beneficiaries than the way in which it's being conducted right now."
On Friday, Congressman Raja and Congressman John Moolenaar (R-MI) announced that they have nominated the Campaign for Uyghurs for the Nobel Peace Prize. He said, "In the face of one of the most urgent human rights crises today, the Campaign for Uyghurs and Teacher Li... persist in fighting injustice and giving a voice to those who are too often silenced."
