On Tuesday, Congressman Raja joined FOX32 to discuss Trump's proposed federal spending cuts and the need to protect federal assistance programs. He said, "We need to make sure these [federal assistance] programs are available to pull people up when they fall down."
Later on Tuesday, Congressman Raja joined fellow Congresspeople in speaking on strengthening Medicare. He said, "[If the Medicare payment system remains broken] guess what happens? Doctors retire or reduce the number of patients they see... fewer patients have access to doctors. It's just that simple."
On Thursday, Congressman Raja joined the Greg and Dan Show to discuss protecting U.S. farmers from Chinese retaliation for Trump's tariffs. He said, "There's going to be retaliation by the Chinese against our agriculture... [we must] work with our friends, partners, and allies around the world to make sure we don't get played."
