RFK Jr. is dismantling public health infrastructure.

RFK Jr. has begun his "reduction in force" plan at the HHS. He is firing 10,000+ full time employees at the CDC, FDA, and NIH. After this round of firings, the HHS work force has plummeted from 82,000 to 62,000.
 
Experts warn his "Make America Healthy Again" campaign will fail if the HHS is hollowed out. RFK Jr. is set to close down the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, and close divisions at the CDC focused on global health, HIV prevention and injury prevention -- such as gun violence.
