On Monday, Congressman Raja joined CNN to discuss the disastrous Trump tariffs. He said, "I don't like blanket tariffs at this point. It's creating tremendous chaos and confusion. People are actively calling my office… saying their prices are going up and their stock market, retirement, and college savings are plummeting."
On Tuesday, Congressman Raja led a roundtable discussion on protecting Medicaid in Illinois. Covered in WGN, he said, "[The GOP budget] cuts would jeopardize Medicaid coverage for 3.4 million Medicaid recipients in Illinois."
On Friday, Congressman Raja joined CNN to discuss Abrego-Garcia and Trump ignoring the rule of law. He said, "Is the Executive branch going to obey the law?.. What's to prevent this White House from deporting an American citizen… and that person not being able to return?"
