This past week, Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi spoke with MSNBC about the upcoming 'Justice for January 6th' rally in Washington DC. "I think Republican leaders, starting with Donald Trump, must dissuade people from participating in this rally. They didn't do the right thing on January 6th, this is their chance to do the right thing now."
Yesterday Congressman Raja spoke with CNN about North Korea claiming to have successfully tested new long-range cruise missiles. "First of all we have to verify that this actually happened. Second, these cruise missiles are different from ballistic missiles. The United Nations has put sanctions, and we have worked with our partners, with regard to trying to tamp down developments in the ballistic missile arena, and now we have to do the same with the cruise missile program. Third, we're going to have to work with the Chinese Government which has maximum leverage with North Korea to end this cruise missile program and stop these provocative measures."
The Congressman also spoke with MSNBC on 9/11 to remember the fallen heroes from that day. "I started the day with a remembrance ceremony here in Schaumburg Illinois. We remembered the heroes who selflessly sacrificed themselves to save others. They showed the '9/11 spirit', they showed courage in the face of evil, resilience in the face of tragedy, and unity above all. Today I believe we need to channel that spirit to face the challenges facing our country now as well, and that would be the best tribute to the memory of those heroes of 9/11."
