Last week, Congressman Raja visited the Elk Grove Village Cares Program after having secured an additional $500,000 in federal funding for its addiction recovery programs. "Krishnamoorthi presented [Elk Grove Village Mayor] Johnson with an oversized $500,000 check to be used for patient treatment."
Congressman Raja appeared on Michael Steele's podcast on Thursday to discuss a broad range of topics, including efforts at bipartisanship at the Capitol. The Congressman noted that "I'm pleased with how Chairman Gallagher and I have been able to work together closely along with our leadership... in trying to make sure [the Select Committee on China] is focused on getting things done."
On Friday, Congressman Raja published an op-ed in The Hill about holding Daniel Snyder, former owner of the Washington Commanders NFL team, accountable. The Congressman wrote, "NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell must keep his promise, made before a congressional committee, to complete its second investigation of Snyder and his franchise and, this time, publicly release the results."
