Team: Last cycle, we defeated homophobia at the ballot box. In California, we elected Robert Garcia – the first out LGBTQ+ immigrant ever to serve the state in Congress. His opponent had a sordid history of anti-LGBTQ+ rhetoric. In Illinois, Eric Sorensen faced an extremely conservative opponent in a toss up race. Despite this, we helped him win an open seat for Democrats, making him the first openly gay man to represent Illinois in Congress. And in New Hampshire, Kansas, and Minnesota, we re-elected Future Forum Incumbents Chris Pappas, Sharice Davids, and Angie Craig – helping each of them defeat their anti-choice and anti-LGBTQ+ opponents. Last cycle, Future Forum PAC defeated some of the GOP's most extreme and hateful candidates while electing more openly LGBTQ+ Democrats to Congress than ever before. In honor of Pride Month, will you donate $5 or more to help us build on our progress and re-elect these LGBTQ+ Future Forum Democrats in 2024? If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
Already this year, there have been nearly 500 anti-LGBTQ+ bills introduced in state legislatures across the country, criminalizing everything from gender-affirming care for trans kids to drag shows in public places. This is a code-red moment for LGBTQ+ rights nationwide. We must put a firewall between these restrictive bills and our most fundamental freedoms – which starts with electing and re-electing Future Forum Democrats fighting to stop the ongoing wave of anti-LGBTQ+ hate.
Thank you, Futute Forum PAC
