Team, House Republicans just passed a bill to retroactively charge student loan borrowers interest on their paused payments, repeal President Biden's plan to relieve up to $20,000 in student debt for borrowers, and claw back aid from public servants. This latest GOP attack on student debt relief is a slap in the face to 43 MILLION Americans with student loan debt. We should be helping Americans struggling with student debt, not making their problems worse.  The fight to address the student debt crisis is far from over – and we need to be prepared to hold Republicans accountable who voted to take away student debt relief in 2024.
