On Monday, Congressman Raja joined MedasTouch to discuss Trump's first month in office and his proposed cuts to Medicaid. He said, "Republicans are proposing upwards of $2.3 trillion in cuts to Medicaid... that's almost a third of Medicaid. That would mean tens of millions of Americans losing access to their sole source of healthcare."

On Tuesday, Congressman Raja joined the Brookings Institute to discuss Elon Musk's impact on US national security. He said, "[The Chinese] absolutely see [Musk] as an asset to them in any kind of negotiations, a way to bypass Rubio, a way to bypass Waltz, a way to bypass those whom they see to be less friendly to them on their issues."

Also on Tuesday, in a hearing of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, Congressman Raja criticized Republican proposals to cut the United States Postal Service. He said, "No private sector entity provides universal service across the nation, and without these letter carriers and others, more than 51.5 million households and businesses especially in rural communities would have no guaranteed delivery."

On Wednesday, Congressman Raja joined WGN Radio to advocate for more transparency with DOGE. He said, "We absolutely need more transparency and accountability for the people making decisions... we almost successfully subpoenaed Elon Musk to come before the Oversight Committee, but it was blocked by Republicans. We have to keep shining a light on this."

On Friday, Congressman Raja spoke at a press conference with other Illinois Democrats to defend Medicaid. He said, "[An Illinois resident] is about to see his Medicaid and his services cut, and for what? For tax breaks for billionaires, oligarchs, and broligarchs. That is wrong."

Later on Friday, Congressman Raja joined CNN to discuss the disastrous meeting between President Trump and President Zelenskyy. He said, "The CCP are looking at [us] very carefully. They are thinking 'What if we move on Taiwan... will [the US] do the same thing to Taiwan that they are doing to Ukraine...?' We are moving towards conflict... because of this White House encounter."
