Never forget 🇺🇸

 

 

 

Dear Sandeep,

 

On this day in 2001, we woke up and had no idea our lives would be forever changed. Today on the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks on America, we choose to remember those we lost on that terrible day. We reflect on those who went to work and never came back.  We honor the brave first responders who ran into grave danger.  We thank our Armed Forces who sought to protect us against similar attacks going forward

 

Yet despite that horrible day on 9/11, I am always uplifted by the way our nation pulls together as one people. We unite with resilience regardless of race, creed, or background.  Together, we mourn those whom we lost, and we remember to thank our first responders and others who everyday protect and defend our communities and our country.

 

Let us never forget 9/11.
