Sandeep – I wish I didn't have to keep coming to you with terrible news, but that's where we are: Earlier this week, the Supreme Court just gave the greenlight to the Trump Administration's blatant campaign of racial profiling of immigrants.  This is a truly sad moment for all who believe in civil liberties and basic rights. The Trump Administration has said it themselves: they are detaining people simply based on whether they "look" like an immigrant or if they speak a different language. Trump isn't just targeting violent criminals, he's violently uprooting hardworking, innocent people – including U.S. citizens – from their communities indiscriminately. Growing up, I often felt like an outsider because of my identity. But I never had to fear being detained or questioned just because of how I looked or the language I spoke.
