Sandeep, Raja Krishnamoorthi here. I have some grim news: Democrats are facing a voter registration crisis. Over the last four years, Democrats lost ground to Republicans in every single state.  Look, I don't need to tell you how important it is that we defeat Republicans in the midterms next year. Donald Trump is completely out of control – and completely unchecked. He's ignored court orders, sent the military onto American streets, and intimidated and arrested political opponents. And the MAGA loyalists in the Senate have made clear they have little respect for Democracy, the law, or our basic rights.
If we're going to put a stop to it, we NEED to elect STRONG Democrats and finally flip the Senate blue. That's why I'm so concerned about this news: The Democratic Party is hemorrhaging voters all across the country. And we've seen some of the worst news in key swing states and demographics. We're facing a crisis, Sandeep. And we need urgent action. Here's the good news: Thanks to supporters like you, we're building one of the strongest campaigns this state has ever seen — traveling all over, registering voters, putting it all on the line. But this is going to be one of the toughest and most expensive midterm elections in history, and it's clear we have a lot of work ahead to make sure we hand Donald Trump and his MAGA minions a devastating defeat. So I'm counting on Democrats like you to step up to help us turn things around.
