Here’s the situation:
This poll is a testament to our support across Alaska, and I am so energized by the movement we’re building. Together, we are creating a historic effort to fight for our future and to take on the DC establishment and corporate special interests.
But it also reveals a concerning trend.
Last month, polling showed that our lead was cut in half. And we haven’t made up that ground since.
My opponent and the dark money super PACs backing him have been flooding Alaska’s airwaves with lies to try and stop our momentum. And this shows that their attacks are working…
This team has been key to our response. With your help, we’ve launched new TV and digital ads and traveled hundreds of miles by plane, boat, snowmachine, and more to rally our support across Alaska.
But we can’t stop here. These new numbers show that we have to push even harder to overcome rampant outside spending in this race. Alaska is shaping up to be the most competitive and expensive race on the map.
To fight back, we need to hit each and every one of our fundraising goals. We’re coming up fast on our next FEC deadline with our biggest goal yet. We’ll have to publicly report our fundraising for everyone to see, so we need to show that we have what it takes to win.
