The FBI wiretapped me. I’m not backing down.

I was recently informed by the FBI and DOJ that as a part of their investigation into Virginia state Senator and President Pro Tempore Louise Lucas, law enforcement agencies intercepted my phone conversations with her. This is deeply concerning — let me explain why.  Since re-taking office, Trump has turned the DOJ into his own personal law firm.   They have opened up politically-motivated investigations into multiple state attorneys general, the former FBI director, the former CIA director, and countless other perceived political enemies, resulting in multiple indictments. And now, they admit they have surveilled conversations by a sitting Member of Congress — who happens to be a Democrat, and happens to sit on the House Oversight Committee. If the Trump administration thinks these actions will scare or stop me from holding them accountable, they are dead wrong. I am more determined than ever to deliver a Democratic majority to hold bad actors accountable and to fight for Virginians.
