Congressman Raja joined MSNBC to discuss his recent efforts urging Elon Musk to address possible manipulation of information by the Chinese Communist Party. When asked about the recent letter to Musk that he co-authored, the Congressman told MSNBC hosts: "This letter that Adam Schiff, Jackier Speier, and I wrote to Elon Musk stems from the fact that what the Chinese Communist Party has done is bury posts on twitter that people are looking for to learn more about protests against the Chinese government... we are asking Mr. Musk, can you verify the source of these spam block out posts to be the Chinese Communist Party and what are we going to do to prevent this from happening going forward?" 

Princeton University, Congressman Raja's alma mater, hosted him and Republican GT Thompson (R-PA) for a bipartisan discussion of how the two sides can work together in the new Congress. Congressman Thompson and Congressman Raja described joint work on modernizing skills-based and vocational education as well as other efforts. Congressman Raja told the students and interviewer that, "The way you talk about other people and talk about a subject and talk about people's differences really matters in terms of your effectiveness." 

BusinessWire reported on the announcement that the Congressman is furthering his work to safeguard the United States against threats from the Chinese Community Party as a leader in the non-partisan Global Tech Security Commission. The Congressman told reporters, "Countering the Chinese Communist Party's techno-authoritarianism by developing and harnessing advanced technology is one of the critical challenges of our time. I am proud to join the nonpartisan Global Tech Security Commission as an Honorary Co-Chair to work to address this challenge."
