Team, we are proud to announce Future Forum's newly elected leaders for the 118th Congress! This week, members unanimously elected their Democratic colleagues Rep. Haley Stevens (D-MI) as Co-Chair for Administration and Membership, Rep. Colin Allred (D-TX) as Co-Chair for Communications, and Rep. Darren Soto (D-FL) as Co-Chair for Policy. For the next Congressional legislative session, Future Forum implemented a co-chair model that will allow the co-chairs to further grow the mission and reach of Future Forum by leveraging their unique abilities while working collaboratively toward the organization's common goals. Rep. Haley Stevens (MI-11), Co-Chair for Administration and Membership "I am so honored to serve as the Future Forum Co-Chair for Administration and Membership next Congress as a voice for young people. I can't wait to work alongside co-chairs Rep. Allred and Rep. Soto to tackle critical issues that are so important to young people like paid family leave, lowering the cost of education, gun violence prevention, and protecting our environment. As young Americans ourselves, we understand the urgent need for action and our sleeves are rolled up!" Rep. Colin Allred (TX-32), Co-Chair for Communications "Young people need a seat at the table in Congress, and I'm proud to be elected as Future Forum's Co-Chair for Communications to do just that. I look forward to continuing to work alongside Congressman Soto and Congresswoman Stevens and all my colleagues in the Future Forum to lift up the voices of the next generation and deliver on the issues they care about." Rep. Darren Soto (FL-09), Co-Chair for Policy "It is an honor to be elected as Co-Chair of Policy for Future Forum in the 118th Congress. I'm incredibly proud of our progress to include young Americans in important conversations and look forward to continuing this important work. I am also excited to work with Reps. Allred and Stevens to take our caucus to the next level by collaborating on innovative ideas for our youth." Future Forum leadership looks forward to engaging with a wide array of stakeholders and advocates on and off the Hill to further advance a policy mission focused on critical issues like gun violence, climate change, student loan debt, and the future of work. We thank you for your continued support and are energized to get to work and continue delivering for the American people! Future Forum
