Wade, and reproductive rights came under attack, Americans stood up and voted against abortion restrictions in large numbers. But despite that, Republican legislators are still ramping up their war against reproductive rights: In states where they did well, Republicans are feeling emboldened. Conservative state legislators are proposing limits to when abortion procedures can take place, enacting new regulations on abortion pills, and strengthening penalties for doctors who provide reproductive healthcare.
