Well before Election Day, MAGA Republicans were openly bragging about imposing a national abortion ban, ending marriage equality, gutting Social Security and Medicare, and stripping Democrats of committee assignments when they grabbed control of Congress. But McCarthy, McConnell, Trump, and the MAGA extremists failed to consider the grit, spunk, and deep commitment to protecting our democracy by Future Forum frontliners. We worked and organized and fought in every region of the country – and the so-called 'Red Tsunami' was a washout. The midterm election was a success for Democrats and an overwhelming rebuke to Republicans.
