Affordable Care Act: During his first term, Donald Trump repeatedly undermined the ACA to make it harder for people to sign up for healthcare. He was within just one vote of repealing it! Now, with a Republican trifecta in Washington, Trump may be able to implement policies that have the same results as repealing the ACA: raising the uninsured rate, weakening patient protections, and increasing premium costs for millions of people.
 
Medicare: Despite 67 million people enrolled in Medicare, Donald Trump nominated Dr. Oz- who wants to SUNSET Social Security and Medicare- to oversee Medicare and Medicaid.
 
Social Security: House Republicans have proposed over $1.5 TRILLION in cuts and increasing the retirement age to 69. Under Trumps plan, the average monthly Social Security benefit check will be reduced by $629.
