Today we join the country in remembering the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Dr. King's unwavering determination and resolve in his fight for equality and justice are guideposts for our current efforts to create a more just and prosperous society.
Dr. King's life is a reminder that with sufficient action and dedication, even one person can create enormous positive change in our world. Today, I hope we can each reflect on Dr. King's life and take time to decide what positive change we each can bring to our own communities. We live in challenging times, and it's never been more important for each of us to take action to create the positive change that we seek.
