Friends, On November 8th, I defeated anti-abortion Republican Steve Chabot, an incumbent who had been in office for nearly 30 years. I was one of a handful of Future Forum Democrats to flip a seat from red to blue because voters want common sense to be our guiding principle in Washington – not chaos and extremism. But already, in the first week of the new Congress, Republicans have continued to let chaos and dysfunction rule their party. GOP Reps. Matt Gaetz, Lauren Boebert, and Majorie Taylor Greene were able to stall work and make demands in closed-door meetings with Kevin McCarthy that will shape the priorities of the new Republican-controlled Congress. We need your support to hold the line against any divisive, extreme policies they introduce in the weeks and months to come. In this time of embarrassing chaos and confusion from Republicans, Democrats need to stand together to show voters that we are ready and prepared to lead our country – starting by building the resources we'll need to take back the House in 2024. Future Forum Democrats like me ran winning campaigns with YOUR grassroots donations this November. Help us do it again in the next cycle by pitching in $10 or more to be split between me and Future Forum Democrats today. Thank you! Rep. Greg Landsman (OH-01)
