So she ran to become a state legislator and gained a reputation for taking on tough fights and working across the aisle to get things done. Dr. Caraveo has a history of legislative success that includes passing legislation that lowered the cost of prescription medicine, drastically limited the toxic pollution that endangers our kid's health and planet, and expanded funding for preschool.
