Lauren Underwood’s race could determine control of Congress

Team,

Here's what we know in Illinois, less than five weeks from Election Day.

Newly-drawn redistricting maps in the state shrunk the number of House districts from 18 to 17 across Illinois. The challenge is for Democrats to secure a significant majority of those seats — and help hold the Democratic majority in the House after the midterm elections.

Rep. Lauren Underwood is running in IL-14, and it's a must-win seat that could determine control of Congress.

Lauren won by less than 6,000 votes in 2020, a razor-thin margin. Now, she's up against a MAGA extremist opponent who supports an abortion ban and refuses to stand up to Donald Trump.

Folks, Rep. Underwood urgently needs our support in this tight race that could decide the outcome of the midterm elections for Congress. Can you donate immediately to help defend Lauren and our congressional majority?
